Event Overview
Beavers Care Day highlights ARC’s dedication to service, support, and community connection. From campus and community resource fairs to creative art stations and cultural celebrations, this day focuses on how ARC students, staff, and partners come together to care for one another.
Featured Activities
Tuesday’s Themed Attire
- TBD
Chalk the Walk (9:00 – 11:00 AM : Various Locations, Starting Point TBD)
- Hosted by the Arts Department, students will fill campus walkways with colorful chalk art and positive affirmations.
- Messages will highlight pride, identity, belonging, and encouragement for the ARC community.
- Artwork will remain on display throughout the week, creating a vibrant path leading into Thursday’s Wellness Walk.
- Chalking ends at the STEM Quad so participants can stop by the Club Day & Resource Fair.
ARC Club Day & Resource Fair (10:00 AM - 2:00 PM : STEM Quad)
- Campus clubs and college resources come together.
- Students - Come by to learn more about the Clubs on campus and how you can get involved! Stop by our ARC programs and area tables to learn more about what support we currently offer here at American River College for students like you!
- Campus Community - Have you had to do your own research on our programs we provide here at ARC to answer questions you’ve gotten from students? Come by the quad for an opportunity to learn more about the programs that we currently offer here at American River College that support student success!
Día de los Muertos Celebration (10:00 AM - 1:00 PM : Student Center)
- Celebrate the traditions of Día de los Muertos with the ARC community.
- Experience altars, art, and cultural expressions honoring loved ones.
- A welcoming event for all students to learn about and engage with Latinx culture.
Art in Action (Time TBD : Location TBD)
- Hands-on creative activities to relax, connect, and contribute to the community vibe.
ARC Instrumental Jazz (1:30 - 4:00 PM : Student Center)
- Live performances to energize the afternoon and bring students together.
Men’s Soccer - Latinx Heritage Celebration Game (3:00 PM : ARC Soccer Stadium)
- Cheer on ARC Men’s Soccer in a special Latinx Heritage Celebration Game.
- Festivities will highlight Latinx culture and community pride.
- Mariachi music, food, and cultural activities are being planned to bring fans together in celebration.
