The goal of this event is to foster empathy, grace, and understanding for our neurodivergent selves, students, staff, and colleagues. This seminar will introduce you to critical terminology and vocabulary needed to understand neurodiversity, including the neurodivergent umbrella,  executive functions, sensory processing, and more. In addition to highlighting areas of challenge for neurodivergent individuals, this seminar  will also work to highlight the many strengths of neurodivergent students, colleagues, and leadership. Finally, this seminar will conclude with simple strategies you can employ to make your classroom or workspace more inclusive for neurodivergent individuals.
