Join us for our Academic Senate Retreat - a time to connect, learn, and envision the year ahead together! Whether you're stepping into this role for the first time or returning for another term, or simply curious, we're thrilled to include all faculty as part of our Senate community. This retreat is designed to strengthen our collective work while honoring the diverse perspectives and expertise each of you brings to faculty governance. All faculty are welcome to join!

We'll spend time together:

  • Connecting as colleagues and representatives across divisions
  • Learning about Senate processes, effective representation, and shared governance
  • Exploring our priorities for the year through collaborative goal-setting
  • Building relationships that make our Senate work more meaningful and effective
  • Celebrating our commitment to serving ARC's faculty and students

In the first half, new representatives will gain practical tools and confidence to hit the ground running, while returning members will deepen their leadership skills and help mentor colleagues. In the second half, we'll create space for authentic conversation about what matters most to our campus community and how we can work together to make a difference. Your voice, your questions, and your vision for ARC matter. We're grateful for your curiosity, or if you've chosen to serve in this important role, and we can't wait to learn and grow alongside you. Come ready to engage, ask questions, and be part of shaping the future of our Academic Senate!

This event meets State PD Guideline H; ARC Strategic Goal 3; ARC Competency: Organizational Adeptness. Attendance at this professional development activity is limited to LRCCD employees and invited participants.
