Have you ever wanted to have a more graphically and visually appealing Canvas Shell? Enhancing the visual appeal of your Canvas course can help foster student engagement and make content navigation intuitive. By integrating graphics thoughtfully, you can transform your course into a welcoming and organized digital learning environment. This "how-to" workshop demonstration will guide attendees through best practices for designing a visually compelling course using graphic elements. During this interactive event, participants will explore techniques to create custom banners, buttons, and icons that align with their course themes. Facilitators will demonstrate how to utilize tools like PowerPoint for designing simple course graphics, animated gifs, and navigation buttons which can then be uploaded to Canvas. Attendees will also learn how to embed visuals in their course homepage, discussion boards, and modules, making the course visually inviting and easy to navigate for students. employees and invited participants.
