New things are always happening in California.
Title 5 has been revised to ensure course outlines include approaches to accessibility, inclusion, and equitable outcomes. The State Chancellor’s Office will shift attendance accounting from an instructional-hours framework to a units-earned framework. Phase III of Common Course Numbering will soon be released. Additionally, Los Rios will begin piloting non-credit courses, and our local Curriculum Committee hopes to move all CTE courses and programs to a 6-year full review cycle in Fall 2026.
Please join us as we share our plans and the processes we're developing!
