Autism is ARC’s fastest-growing disability group and third largest overall. Studies indicate that 25-50% of autistic people are undiagnosed, and that around 4% of the general population express the autism neurotype. Join us to learn more about autism and how intersectionality impacts diagnostic access. Autistic students and educators will share their experiences at American River College, and together we’ll explore ways to make ARC more welcoming, supportive, and inclusive for autistic students and professionals alike.
