Discover the exciting world of drone technology and its potential applications in education, research, and campus life. This hands-on session will introduce colleagues to the basics of drone operation, safety protocols, and creative ways drones can enhance student engagement—from STEM demonstrations to digital media projects. Participants will see live demonstrations, explore practical classroom uses, and even try piloting drones in a safe environment.
Attending this event is important because it equips ARC colleagues with innovative tools to inspire students, foster resiliency through experiential learning, and connect emerging technology to real-world problem solving. Drones are also opening doors to careers in fields such as construction, agriculture, public safety, filmmaking, and environmental science. By learning how to integrate drones into teaching, colleagues can help students gain skills that translate directly into growing job opportunities across multiple industries.
