Attention ARC Classified Professionals and Faculty!  Are you interested in learning new skills and practices that will help you in your field?  Have you ever considered applying for funding to attend a Professional Development training, event or conference, but weren’t sure where to begin?

This event will explain the new Professional Development Funding Application and Travel Authorization Reimbursement (TAR) Process. Answers to questions such as who can apply, when can they apply, and how can they apply will be provided.  Additional details will be covered as well, such as:

  • How much PD funding can be awarded per academic year?
  • What information is needed in the application?
  • What is the timeline for a decision?  and
  • Is there an online list of FAQs?

As an added bonus, learn how you can become a part of the Classified or Faculty PD Funding Committee.

This is the workshop to attend if you'd like to learn more about the process of completing the TAR and applying for funds to attend your PD activities. Understanding when and how to apply will increase your chance of getting approval, receiving funding and being able to attend.
