Join us to learn about the history of women's history at American River College and meet faculty who teach these vital courses!
The program will include:
- Our Featured Speaker: Dolores Delgado-Campbell, a retired ARC faculty member who taught women's history and Chicano history. She will share some insights into the early days of women's history at ARC and the development of the field in the 1970s;
- Faculty Perspectives: Faculty will share why they came to teach women's history as well as what excites them about the field;
- Unexpected Discoveries: A chance to learn about surprising and exciting aspects of women's history that you likely haven't encountered before; and
- Q&A Session: The opportunity to ask your questions about women's history courses and the field of women’s history in general.
