Faculty are always trying to figure out how well their students are really understanding what they are being taught.  With the recent boom in student access to AI, many of us are experiencing at least some clear changes in how well our assessments are actually assessing “if our students have really learned” the material.  This Flex Event is meant to provide an open discussion about the topic … by faculty, for faculty.  Our discussions might range from how you can tell if your students learned material, to methods that you use to help ensure that your assessments are working, to if we even need to ensure that students can do the work without AI in the first place.  We respect that every discipline is different and that every faculty member is the expert in the needs in their own class.  We are hoping to share a wide range of experiences, expectations, and results.  Attendance at this professional development activity is limited to LRCCD employees and invited participants.
