What would you do if Canvas went offline right in the middle of a critical instructional week?
Securing your data is only half the battle—the real goal is maintaining momentum so your students never miss a beat. Join us for a proactive, practical workshop where we will build your personalized Canvas Course "Rescue Kit." You will learn how to quickly export your gradebook, secure your course's .imscc "Master Key," and master strategies for communicating with your students. More importantly, you'll learn how to deploy a dynamic "lifeboat" plan to keep your class running smoothly until the crisis passes.
We will walk you through unlocking your exported course content locally using a browser-based viewer. From there, you’ll discover how easily you can copy and paste your formatted page text and instructional files, organized by modules, straight into a shareable Google Doc. By transforming your raw backup data into a live, accessible learning hub, you can keep teaching, sharing materials, and communicating with students seamlessly—no matter what the LMS is doing. Don't wait for the next unexpected tech glitch; join us to future-proof your course and gain the ultimate peace of mind.
