As Los Rios enters the third phase of implementing Common Course Numbering (CCN), faculty engagement is essential to ensuring consistency, clarity, and student-centered alignment across our district and the California Community Colleges system.

This training invites educators and staff to approach academic integrity and behavioral concerns through a humanized, empathetic, prioritizing understanding, dialogue, and connection to supportive campus resources before turning to formal conduct processes.

Join us as we examine teaching practices with a gender lens on curriculum, assessment, student-teacher engagement, inclusion of role models, and gender stereotyping. This workshop will also discuss recruitment strategies to increase student enrollment in non-traditional disciplines.

This FLEX session is aimed at reaching an accessible understanding of our accreditation reporting, our current midterm report, and how we all participate in the cycle, and can engage even more actively.
