Cosumnes River College is proud to present an unforgettable talk with acclaimed author, poet, and Iraq War veteran Brian Turner, whose powerful work brings rare depth and humanity to the experiences of war, memory, and survival. With honesty and eloquence, Turner delivers a gripping and memorable experience for audiences interested in literature, service, healing, and the human condition.

The equity assessment was a comprehensive, college-wide evaluation conducted by Hotep Consultants to examine institutional equity practices, campus climate, and systems that impact students and employees. The assessment involved data collection, stakeholder engagement, and analysis to identify strengths, gaps, and opportunities for advancing equity across the college. The presentation of findings is intended to share key themes, insights, and recommendations with the campus community to inform ongoing planning, decision-making, and equity-centered action.
