Floral Sales - Summer 2025Thursday, August 7, 10:30 am to 12:30 pm
The Floriculture Summer Floral Sale will be held in the Library Quad near the Welcome Center on Thursdays. Cut flowers for these sales will be harvested from the Horticulture department's very own summer gardens. All cut flowers are student grown, harvested and arranged and will be reasonably priced.

Identifying Suicide Risk and How to RespondMonday, August 18, 11:30 am to 1:00 pm
This training is split into two parts: the first 30-minute session is for all staff and covers how to identify and respond to students expressing suicidal thoughts, including Los Rios's protocol and after-hours support. The second 45-minute session is for counselors and focuses on using the Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale for risk assessment and safety planning.
