This conference is specifically designed for discipline experts and scholars in African American/Black Studies, Asian American/Pacific Islander Studies, Chicana/o Studies, and American Indian/Native American Studies. Counselors and Articulation Officers are also welcome to attend.

We are honored to have two extraordinary women who have been foundational to the ongoing efforts and advancements in Ethnic Studies as our keynote speakers: California Secretary of State, Dr. Shirley Weber, and Ms. Pamela Haynes, who sits on the Board of Governors for the California Community College Chancellor's Office.

  • Current state and nationwide legislation
  • TMC/ADT development
  • Common course numbering
  • The future of Ethnic Studies
