Celebrate regenerative plant-based living at the 2025 SacTown VegFest—Sacramento's 100% vegan festival featuring speakers, cooking demos, food vendors, kids' activities, and more. Free admission at Cosumnes River College on Saturday, October 11. 

VegFest has:

  • Inspiring Speakers: Experts in regenerative plant-based nutrition, sustainable agriculture, and environmental health will share insights and stories. (Library Forum Room, L-111)
  • Live Cooking Demos: Learn practical tips for cooking plant-based meals at home. (Business and Social Science, BS-129)
  • Food Vendors: Savor a wide variety of vegan eats—from comfort food to global cuisine. (CRC Quad, outdoors)
  • Exhibitors: Discover eco-conscious products, local nonprofits, wellness services, and more.
  • Kitchen Tours: Get an exclusive look inside CRC's brand-new culinary teaching kitchen, designed to support the next generation of plant-based chefs.

Special features include:

  • Free admission for all attendees
  • Family-friendly and welcoming to all ages
  • Easy access via public transit (Light Rail Blue Line station) or free parking

This event is open districtwide to students, faculty, staff, and the community. Hosted by the SacTown Veg Society, a California nonprofit dedicated to promoting plant-based living, and by CRC's Nutrition, Agriculture, and Horticulture programs.
