ARC is committed to providing excellent student services in support of learning for all of its students.
Program Student Service Outcomes
- As a result of interacting with the Admissions Office or Web resources, I am able to complete the college application and/or supplemental application.
- As a result of working with the Admissions Lab and/or website, I am able to find instructions to submit petitions for special requests.
- Following instructions provided by the Admissions Office staff or Web site, I am able to find and complete the petition to graduate and/or a certificate.
- As a result of working with the Admissions Office and/or Web site, I am able to acquire needed transcripts and/or enrollment verifications.
- After attending the CalWORKs New Student Orientation, I am able to understand the college CalWORKs program requirements and my responsibilities.
- After attending the CalWORKs New Student Orientation, I am able to identify and find campus resources and services to support my education including tutoring, counseling/advising, BeaverCares, HomeBases, DSPS, Career & Pathways, etc.
- After completing a comprehensive education plan with my CalWORKs counselor, I am able to understand the required courses and length of time for completion of my academic goals.
- As a result of working with the CalWORKs program, I am able to maximize my county interactions and resources.
- After completing the Undecided Students Orientation, I am able to find the resources to determine what major I want.
- After meeting with a Career Counselor, I am able to decide on a major and career path.

Following a counseling appointment, students will recognize the value of counseling and its functions and will be able to:
- access their Student Education plan and use it to enroll in classes independently or with eservices support
- demonstrate an understanding of the types of requirements they must complete to earn their degree or certificates
- access relevant campus programs independently or with Homebase support
Following transfer planning appointments, students will demonstrate the ability to:
- view required major courses for the 4-year institution(s) they are interested in attending
- identify and follow the GE appropriate GE pattern
- identify and access the Transfer Center and its services
Following their initial counseling appointment, “New to College” students will be able to:
- identify their strengths and their academic and career interests
- contact their Homebase and other relevant student support programs in person or online
- access and review information about their course requirements including GE and major/possible majors
- I have an awareness of DSPS Programs and Services available to the campus and community to serve as a linkage and resource.
- As a result of working with the DSPS Office, I am able to receive accommodations and services in a timely manner to ensure education opportunities.
- Due to interactions with DSPS Office staff and Web resources, I understand the accessibility services and resources available to meet the needs of prospective students and students utilizing our services.
- The DSPS Office has given me a welcoming and inclusive environment for students with disabilities leading to maximum participation in the college and community.

- Understand the significance and monitor the Individualized Student Educational Plan (ISEP) to accomplish educational goals

- After attending the new international student orientation, I am able to understand F1 regulations and my enrollment requirements.
- After attending the new international student orientation, I am able to identify and find campus resources and services to support my education (e.g. tutoring, counseling/advising, BeaverCares, my HomeBase, etc.)
- After community members or prospective international students interact with the International Student Program by phone, online, or in person, they are able to understand the required documents and financial resources necessary for admission as an international student.
- As a result of working with the International Student Program, I am aware of my academic progress and requirements to complete my academic program.
- As a result of working with the TRIO SSS/STEM/VETs program(s), I was able to receive the services and information necessary for me to persist from one academic year to the beginning of the next year (or complete the associate, certificate or transfer goal).
- My interactions with TRIO SSS/STEM/VETS program staff and information on program publications enabled me to know the performance level that is necessary for me to maintain good academic standing.
- As a result of my TRIO SSS/STEM/VETs orientation and student degree plan map, I have a plan to graduate with an associate’s degree of certificate within four years.
- Due to my experiences with the TRIO SSS/STEM/VETs program(s), I was able to learn about the requirements to transfer to a four-year university and grow knowledge about my transfer options.
- As a result of visiting the UndocuScholar Office, I am able to identify campus and community resources that provide guidance and connection for UndocuScholar students and their families (e.g. CHIRLA, Find Your Ally, Beaver Cares, etc.).
- From in-person interaction or from the UndocuScholar Web site, I am able to find financial aid programs and how to apply to them (e.g. CADAA, CA Promise Grant, EOP&S, etc.)
- Due to working with the UndocuScholar Office, I am able to understand the Admissions residency requirements and what is needed to qualify for in-state tuition
- Based upon the UndocuScholar Office’s content and information, I am able to find. support allies at the college in counseling, instructional programs, and campus life/clubs.
- As a result of interacting with the Veterans Resource Center, I am able to understand the VA educational benefits that are available to me and know how to initiate them at ARC.
- As a result of interacting with the Veterans Resource Center, I am able to have a VA education plan created that guides me to my academic goal and allows certification of GI Bill benefits.
- As a result of interacting with the Veterans Resource Center, I am able to identify resources available to me on-campus to support my educational needs.
- After visiting the Veterans Resource Center and/or Web site, I am aware of off-campus services including Veterans service organizations that are available to support me in the community.
- As a result of interacting with the Veterans Resource Center, I am aware of events and activities for student Veterans so I can participate in social events with other Veterans.
